WILD CHILD: Original Poetry, Songs and Riddles by Rebeccah Waff Cope

This little book is filled with richly descriptive poems, songs and riddles that highlight and celebrate the natural world and our physical and spiritual connections to it, as well as the relationships and cultural connections we share with each other in modern-day society. Spanning four decades of creative work, Rebeccah's writing is filled with thoughtful reflections on challenges we face in our lives and ideas on how we better live each day. Infused with curiosity and at times levity, her work is full of wonder for all that she experiences in the world around her and a deep love for the outdoors, the shifting seasons of the year, and the flora and fauna with whom we share our open spaces. Rebeccah is a true "wild child" having spent much of her time outside, first with her family on recreational outings and on their small farm, and later through her professional work as a park ranger, land steward, environmental educator and artist-naturalist.
