Meet Raven Girl - Book 1 by Chelsey Anne Dillard Jones

I decided to write this children’s book series inspired by my daughter and this generation of kids. I’ve worked with children for over 20 years and I often find them to be misunderstood especially once they get into the preteen teen years. However, I found that this generation is beginning to exhibit things much earlier that are perceived in a way that isn’t necessarily accurate.

 We have a generation of kids coming out of a pandemic with incredible amounts of loss and death. This generation of kids is really aware of the things in our culture and in society that desperately need to change and have needed to change for a really long time. I see an amazing generation of activists and world changers. I’m writing this in Hopes that the kids who feel misunderstood and not seen can relate to this character as well as hopefully give some adults some more perspective. I’m not sure exactly how many books this series will include but I’ve got at least six.
